The open toe front keeps things light, and two wide textured straps cross the foot at the toes and the instep to hold you in place. A rear strap sits behind the heel and connects to the side strap, so the sandal stays on as you move. The wedge platform runs under the sole with an espadrille trim around the edge and a ridged bottom for a bit of grip underfoot.
